The Tonale accommodates five passengers with generous headroom and legroom. This crossover has about 23 cubic feet of cargo space in the rear and 50.5 when you fold down the second row. A hands-free power liftgate is available.
The cabin of the Tonale includes premium cloth upholstery with contrast stitching, heated, power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel. Power and Performance
This PHEV features a turbo-four that provides a class-leading 285 horsepower and 347 pound-feet of torque. It also gives you up to 29 highway miles per gallon in hybrid mode. The Tonale comes with standard all-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic transmission.
You can travel up to 33 miles on battery power alone, which tops the range of competing luxury plug-in hybrid crossovers. The available Veloce package adds Gloss Red brake calipers, dual chrome exhaust tips, and dual-mode active suspension. The Tonale offers 18-inch, 19-inch, and 20-inch wheel options.
Connectivity and Infotainment
The tech-forward cabin combines a 10.25-inch touchscreen that runs the Uconnect 5 infotainment system with a 12.3-inch digital driver gauge. The base model of the Tonale also features a voice-activated navigation system, Amazon Alexa, wireless device charging, a six-speaker stereo with satellite and HD radio, and the wireless versions of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
You can manage your battery power and other aspects of your Tonale with the standard Alfa Connect. Audiophiles will appreciate the optional Harman Kardon premium stereo system.
Driver Assistance Tech
Standard driver assistance features include rear cross-traffic alert, traffic sign recognition, driver attention monitoring, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking assist, pedestrian and cyclist emergency braking, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. Enhance the safety of your Tonale with upgrades such as a surround-view camera and lane-centering assist. A Level 2 Assisted Driving system is also available.
